This week we will read the story “A Boa in My Brailler”, a rather amusing story about Otis, a pet boa constrictor, and a Perkins Brailler. . This story is light-hearted comic relief to combat the rainy and still chilly weather.
The morning will begin with the weekly COVID-19 checkin followed by a discussion. Calls take place from 10:00AM to 11:00AM Pacific (1PM to 2PM Eastern).
The Pacific Training Centre for the Blind and COBD: Camp Bowen are hosting round-table discussions on blindness and Deafblindness-related topics each Wednesday in an effort to support Canadians who are blind, low vision, and Deafblind from across the country during the COVID-19 pandemic. These gatherings are open to all Canadians who are blind, low vision, or Deafblind and one does not need to be affiliated with either of the sponsoring organizations in order to participate. These virtual events are intended to promote friendship, connection and sharing of resources and ideas.
You can join the roundtables, which are now available on Zoom and standard telephones by either “giving us a call” and pressing 8 or by joining us on Zoom.
