Accessible copies: a copy of print forms and other documents which a person with disabilities is able to read independently (e.g. electronic, Braille, large print, audio/digital recording etc.)
Blindness/Deafblindness Skills: Skills such as, but not limited to, Braille, travel with a long white cane, alternate computer access, life skills without sight.
Critical Incident: An accident, medical emergency, threatening behaviour
Staff: An Individual employed or contracted to carry out the work of COBD or its organizational units such as divisions.
Participant: An individual who has enrolled with a program operated by COBD or one of its organizational units such as divisions..
Volunteer: An individual who assists in the carrying out of the work of COBD or one of its organizational units such as divisions but does not receive remuneration.
