Virtual Connections is the first of our two virtual camp offerings this summer, the other being the Virtual Music Camp. It is a speaker series featuring 4 speaker sessions, each followed by an opportunity to get together with fellow virtual campers and either play games or simply to socialize. Each session will feature a different speaker, on topics such as martial arts; how blind people can participate independently in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM); and others. More details on the full schedule will be posted closer to the dates.

Virtual Connections will take place on July 27 and 30 and August 3 and 6, 2021, each time from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. It will be open to Canadians who are blind, Deafblind and low vision ages 13 and up from across the country. The social interaction components will be divided by age bracket, into teen and adult groups. Thanks to the generosity of several grantors, Virtual Connections will be offered free of charge.
