The Pacific Training Centre for the Blind, Canadian Federation of the Blind, and Camp Bowen Society are hosting round-table discussions on blindness and Deafblindness-related topics each Wednesday in an effort to support blind, low vision, and Deafblind people during COVID-19. These gatherings are intended to promote friendship, connection and sharing of resources and ideas. Calls take place from 10 AM to 11:10 AM Pacific.
Please note: The sessions are now ending at 11:10 instead of 11:20 as part of PTCB’s new training schedule.
The topic for December 9, 2020’s COVID-19 Connection National Roundtable is focused on the non-fiction story, “They Didn’t Want Me To Go To School”, from the book As The Twig is Bent. The morning will begin with the weekly COVID-19 checkin followed by a reading of and discussion on the story.
There is a list of call-in instructions available.
