1. Fire Emergency Procedure
In the event of a fire, notify the Director of Operations or their designate immediately and then contact 911. Do not attempt to put out the fire yourself.
Participants and staff will be notified of a fire emergency by a loud bell rung repeatedly or, in the case of participants and staff who are Deafblind, either a vibrating alarm or by signals from staff members as applicable. Staff may also be notified via their staff radios.
Upon notification, follow the Evacuation Procedure.
2. Review and Update
This document will be reviewed at least annually and changes made as needed.
