As the COVID-19 outbreak continues to evolve, the Pacific Training Centre for the Blind is doing everything it can to support students, staff and community through this difficult and complex time.
Our number one priority is to keep staff, students and visitors safe, while also continuing to provide support and quality training to participants.
Following the model of post-secondary institutions in BC, we have temporarily moved from face-to-face instruction to alternative instruction and assessment to support social distancing.
For the time-being, we will be providing Tele-Training to our participants via telephone, including group teleconferences and one-on-one telephone lessons.
Our thoughts are with the community. We hope everyone stays safe and healthy during this difficult time.
